MERAKI; To do something with soul, creativity, love
Posted: Nov 30 2015
This Fall we connected with a beautiful new store in Victoria, BC, named Meraki. A clean aesthetic and curation of lines I admire had us falling for the store before it even opened. The name, however, is what had us swoon over the concept and is a way of truly understanding the shop owner and what she does.
Definition: Meraki (pronounced: may-rah-kee); Greek; adjective
1. To do something with soul, creativity, or love.
2. To put “something of yourself” into what you’re doing.
